Store Manager
Location:Rowley,IA
Reports to: General Sales Manager / General Manager
Supervises: Store Sales Representatives / All Location Employees
Time Allocation: Manage 80% / Direct Sell 20%
Purpose:
• Manage the store location’s “Bodensteiner Experience." Ensure customers’ needs are met across all departments.
• Manage the Sales Department functions for store location.
Responsibilities:
Store Functions
• Oversee all functions of the Store Location
• Foster COMMUNICATION across and within all departments
• Location leader / mentor for the Parts and Service managers
• Be accountable to overall sales to customers in a defined geography
• Collaborate with Aftermarket Managers on the implementation of company programs & initiatives
• Lead location management team on all personnel matters / decisions.
• Directly follow-up with all customers over a defined spend threshold to ensure they had a superior “Bodensteiner Experience”
Sales Functions
• Manage and coach sales professionals
• Ensure the Bodensteiner Sales Process is being fully utilized and adhered to by sales professionals and sales admins.
• Create developmental plans for sales professionals including identifying training needs
• Execute the Sales Department metrics and goals
• Achieve Unit Sales Goals by Product Line
• Be responsible for retailing used equipment at your location
• Manage Complete Goods inventory at the store location
• Merchandising
• New & Used Complete Good Displays
• Timely and accurate advertising, with proper pictures and descriptions
• Internal Work – Authorize and approve all internal reconditioning and setup
• Minimize Aged Inventory (Dollars)
• Achieve JDF Medallion Status (above 65% New Unit Market Share) for location
