2018 National FFA Scholarship Recipients

National FFA Scholarships Awarded to Local Students

Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors/donors, we have closed the books on another successful scholarship year.  We are pleased with the scholarship application response this year of more than 8,800 applicants.

51 John Deere dealers along with John Deere Corporate provided $268,000.00 in scholarships to FFA chapters nationwide through the National FFA Organization's scholarship program.

On behalf of Bodensteiner Implement Company and John Deere, the National FFA awarded a $2,000.00 scholarship to the following high school graduates: Tatum Kahler, Holly Beringer, Hannah Heit, and Hanna Schmitt.

These scholarships are those of more than 1,800 awarded through the National FFA Organization's scholarship program this year.  Currently, 120 sponsors contribute more than $2.6 million to support scholarships for students.

For more than 30 years, scholarships have been made available through funding secured by the National FFA Foundation.  This generous funding comes from individuals, businesses, and corporate sponsors to encourage excellence and enable students to pursue their education goals.

Scholarship recipients were selected from 8,825 applicants across the country.  Selections were based on the applicant's leadership, academic record, FFA and other school and community activities, supervised agricultural or work experience in agricultural education and future goals.
